The Year of Andrzej Wajda at Polish Film Festival North America 2026 is more than an exhibition. Two of the director’s films return to the big screen at the Pickwick Theatre in Park Ridge.
„Katyń” screens on Wednesday, November 11 at 7:00 PM — on Poland’s Independence Day. „Wałęsa. Człowiek z nadziei” (Walesa: Man of Hope) follows on Wednesday, November 18 at 7:00 PM.
Both screenings are part of the celebrations of the Year of Andrzej Wajda. Throughout the festival, November 6–22, 2026, the Andrzej Wajda exhibition is open at Dwell Studio on Irving Park in Chicago.
