This action-packed and humorous comedy follows a teenage technical school student, misunderstood by his family and bullied by his peers because of his passion for fantasy and… playing an elf in LARP (live action role-playing) games.
LARP is a live-action version of RPG games, where participants jointly create and experience stories full of magic and swordplay, taking on roles of their own choosing. In this incredible, imagined world, Sergiusz (Filip Zaręba) is a true hero – masculine, brave, and undefeated. In the real world – not so much.
The boy’s situation becomes even more complicated when a new student arrives at the technical school – the beautiful Helena (Martyna Byczkowska), with whom Sergiusz falls in love at first sight. Unfortunately, the girl starts hanging out with a group of popular students. Sergiusz feels that his chances of winning Helena’s heart are slim when faced with the school’s “trolls.”
Everything changes when he unexpectedly discovers the teenager’s secret, and a famous bestselling author (Bartłomiej Topa) arrives in town.
